I don't know, the front triangle doesn't look like it's welded, it may be carbon... Spank is for sure high ranking on the awesomeness scale. Liking the new designs alot. Simple. The kashima coating is proprietary to a japanese company, not Fox. Thats why they need to send them out to get that buttery goodness put on Nothing like putting stuff together with only a vague idea of the final outcome. It's funny how some of those things actually work out pretty well. Now hook me up with a job as an engineer so I can frankenstein a bike with you haha. anyone else here ride road bikes with flat pedals? haha I also hear that in cold weather the fluid will almost gel up, causing the post to return ultra slowly. Good design, just needs some factory tweaks to get it working right. Nothing ever comes out perfect the first time. Dane you truly showed the limits a bike can be taken to.
